Effect Of Use Of Flexible Transfemoral Prosthesis On Level Of Independence In Performing Daily Activities Of Transfemoral Amputee

Background: Transfemoral amputees experience many difficulties in carrying out daily activities. One of the devices that can be used above-knee amputation patients is transfemoral prosthesis. The use prostheses post-amputation help with activities, one which independence self-care, mobility, and locomotion.
 Methods: study was conducted at PT Kuspito Orthotic Prosthetics time carried 2021. population this users flexible Ortotik Prosthetic. samples were PT. prosthetic orthotic meets criteria as 30 users. sampling technique purposive sampling, inclusion criteria: subjects aged 17-35 years, good health, using a unilateral prosthesis, least an artificial leg for 1 month, having strength value 4, normal Range Of Motion. Exclusion subject had advanced disease, bilateral prosthesis user. measuring instrument Functional Independence Measure (FIM) questionnaire valid reliable. 
 Results: Sig. 0.000, there significant difference level between results pre-test post-test. increase Conclusion: functional strongly influenced by It recommended to independence.
